[band=the_panthers]: they had a more 70's feel to them. there was still a love of the late 90's space rock guitar, but also some wa-wa pedaling. the drummer kept switching up an playing some times repeative like like conifer, the the chinese stars, and then just straight up newage 70's rockout (see high on fire, etc). the singer sometimes reminded me of robert plant. he went up and played drums for part of a song too.
